10-DAY PUBLIC SECTOR MASTER LEAN BELT TIMETABLE
2009 DATES
Introduction
These Public training courses are run on a Regional basis and are designed to fully transfer the knowledge and skills for Public Sector Lean Transformation to participants from Public Service Organisation. The 10-day programmes provide participants with both the methodology for Lean implementation in the public sector context, and the practical experience of supervised implementation of application within their organisation via an individual organisational project to be worked on between the 3-day training Modules.

- Introduction to Group Process Simulation Exercise.
Day Three
- Group Process Simulation Exercise to identify limitations in traditional processing and lean optimisation opportunities in Public Sector processes.

Day Four
- Public Sector Customer Requirements.
- Identification of Bottlenecks and Prohibitors to Process Flow.
- Bottleneck Management.
- Project Reviews.
- Preparation for Module 3.
Day Five
- Performance and Process Measurement.

- Poka Yoke Mistake Proofing.
