This 5 day assessed course is registered by the Governing Board of the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and meets the training requirements for registration of auditors under that scheme.

Successful completion of the course is an internationally recognised qualification for quality and related professionals, whether or not they may not go on to register as auditors.

The course offers a grounding to delegates in the philosophy and principles of ISO 9001:2000, the most widely used quality management tool, as well as concentrating on the teaching of system auditing principles. ISO 9001 does not guarantee perfection of product or service, but instead is complimentary focusing on the quality of management in making product or service available. Hence auditing of organisations against this standard requires an audit of the management systems that support the delivery of quality product and service. The course develops such auditing competencies through theory, practical exercises, case studies and discussion.
